Conservation

The Boy Scouts of America has a long history of championing the conservation of our natural resources. Scouts have ample opportunity to positively benefit the lands where they hike and camp. The BSA recently published a revised Conservation Handbook which can be found here.

There are numerous awards that scouts can earn which require conservation efforts. The Awards Appendix compiles the many awards with conservation service requirements offered by the national organization and local councils.
